With long-standing relationships across China’s building materials and furniture manufacturing industry, we saw an opportunity to create a more direct and efficient way for Australian projects to source quality products.
As construction costs in Australia continue to rise, project budgets are under increasing pressure. While land and labour costs are largely fixed, material procurement remains one of the areas where greater value can still be achieved. LUNI was created to bridge this gap. By sourcing directly from trusted manufacturers and removing unnecessary intermediaries, we help clients access a broader range of well-designed products at more competitive prices. Our Australian and China-based teams manage the entire procurement journey—from sourcing, sampling and order coordination to quality control, logistics and final delivery—giving clients greater cost transparency, product traceability and confidence throughout the process.
My career began as co-founder of Scandiluxe Furniture, where I gained a wonderful foundation in design, manufacturing and business.
From there, I moved into sales, where I discovered a real passion for connecting with people, building relationships and understanding what clients need.
My experience has naturally evolved into procurement, bringing all of these skills together to source quality products, nurture strong supplier relationships and create thoughtful, practical solutions.
Born in China and educated in Australia, I spent much of my life between the two countries, developing a strong understanding of both Chinese and Australian cultures and ways of doing business.
After university, I began my career as an auditor with PwC in Shanghai, before moving into BD role with a focus on China’s manufacturing sector - particularly building materials, furniture and other products connected to the property and interiors industries. Over an eight-year career, I developed an extensive network of trusted manufacturers and industry resources across China.
LUNI was founded to connect my manufacturing network with Australia - making distinctive, well-designed and competitively priced products more accessible to Australian projects and homes.
